Da Silva Surfcamp Portugal

The „Da Silva Surfcamp Portugal“ is a typical Portuguese cottage amid nature without any traffic nearby. The site is surrounded by spacious field granting a fantastic overall view over the green landscape and a wide valley up to the opposite villages. From the huge sun deck you can comfortably look onto the blue sea and the seaside resort “Praia da Areia Branca” while lying in the hammock. At dawn you can experience gorgeous sunsets. There are several routes across the countryyard to the beach – by foot within 20 minutes. With the beach cruiser which can be rented at our camp, it won’t take 10 minutes and by car on the highway you will arrive at the beach within 3 minutes. Although the camp is located very close to the Atlantic, the feeling of being somewhere in the countryside –far away from the hustle and bustle on the beach – is granted by “Da Silva Surfcamp Portugal”.

Rooms @Surfcamp Portugal

There are two private double rooms, one four-bed room and one six-bed room.. While the two double rooms share a bathroom with shower, both multi-bed rooms have a bathroom of their own. The big kitchen, where breakfast is served every morning, is located on the ground floor. The living-room with its huge sun deck is to be found on the first floor.

The Da Silva Surfcamp Portugal is an open house, i.e. there is always a lot going on. Apart from the joint dinners, which are included in the price, spontaneous barbecues or bonfires will often take place. As 50% of us are Portuguese, friends (locals) will come over to join us at the fire. Quite often somebody suddenly takes a guitar and the evening will last far longer than intended. But there are also many, very nice party locations in the surrounding to which we will be pleased to take you in our shuttle bus. After all, we don’t want you to only learn surfing, but also to get to know the pleasant Portuguese nightlife.

Our camp is mainly surrounded by pure nature inviting to walking on the field paths. On the opposite side of the valley the typical farm village “Zambujeira” is located where you’ll find nothing but a little café and a mini-grocery shop. But due to its nativeness it is still worth a visit. Once a year, somewhen in August, a big village fete takes place for which even the great-grandmothers are dressing up. If you want to go out in the evening, you have to go to Praia da Areia Branca or to Peniche, where we will take you with our shuttle bus. Do not worry – it won’t be bearing at all.
